ICMR – NIMR PhD Admissions 2021: Important Dates
Last date for submission of online applications: 05 December, 2020.
Last date of submission of a hard copy of the application and of the request: 12 January 2021.
Announcement of candidates nominated for interviews: 20 December, 2020.
Date of the interview: 1st week of January, 2021.
Announcement of the final Selected: 15 January 2021.

ICMR – NIMR PhD Admissions 2021: Eligibility
Highly enthusiastic students from almost any branch of Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Entomology/Biotechnology/Genetics/Chemistry/Physics/Biophysics/Mathematics/Computer Science/Computational Biology/Biostatistics/or allied subjects with particular interest in Biology.
M Sc,/M. Tech,/B. Tech,/B. Pharm/B.E./MBBS/MD in Biological Sciences or other branches with a particular interest in Malaria Biology Research with at least 60 per cent (or equal to CGPA) may also apply (or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) to the general and OBC categories, and 55 per cent to the SC/ST/Differently qualified candidate in aggregate (or equivalent grade).
In the case of CGPA is not based on a 10-point scale, candidates should submit a statement from the respective university indicating the conversion of CGPA to a percentage. Applicants who have appeared or appear for a qualifying examination in the academic year 2020 are also eligible to apply.
However such candidates will be required to submit proof of qualifying marks either at the time of the interview or when selected at the time of admission. Please note that registration for a PhD degree at AcSIR will only take place once the eligibility criteria have been met.

ICMR – NIMR PhD Admissions 2021: Age Limit
- Upper age limit is 28 years as on November 15, 2020 for General Category. Age relaxation of up to 5 years (33 years) for SC/ST/Differently- Abled/Women candidates and up to 3 years (31 years) for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates will be granted.
ICMR – NIMR PhD Admissions 2021: How to Apply
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the NIMR website www.nimr.org.in.
Application forms available on the NIMR website (www.nimr.org.in) should be duly filled out and submitted online on or before 5 December 2020.
A printed copy of the completed application form should be submitted along with a non-refundable Demand Draft for Rs 300/-(Exempted for SC/ST and Differently-Abled Applicants, provided they submit a supporting document) drawn up in favour of 'Director-NIMR,' so that Envelope should be labelled as 'NIMR Ph.D.' on or before December 12, 2020. January to 2021."
Incomplete applications and applications received after the closing date will not be accepted.

Comments
