The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) announced today that the CA Final and Intermediate exams, which had been delayed due to the second wave of the covid pandemic, will now begin on July 5, 2021.
The ICAI has announced that the "Chartered Accountants Intermediate (IPC) [Under Old Scheme], Intermediate [Under New Scheme], Final (Under Old & New Scheme), and Post Qualification Course (PQC) including Insurance and Risk Management (IRM), Technical Examination, and International Taxation - Assessment Test (INTT- AT) will now begin on Monday, July 5,2021. The detailed examination schedule/notification will be announced shortly "a formal statement was added.
ICAI Extended OC/IT Training Completion Date till June 30
Previously, the ICAI CA intermediate and final exams for the May phase were scheduled to begin on May 21st. They were cancelled, however, due to an increase in coronavirus cases across the country.
The CA Foundation courses exams are scheduled to take place from June 24th to June 30th, and there has been no change to this schedule.
The ICAI conducts CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams at over 1,000 test centres across the country. Unlike other exams, the ICAI does not intend to hold the exams online. As a result, it is even more critical that the exams take place only after the COVID situation has been stabilised.
The CA 2021 exams are also administered at eight test centres outside of India. Candidates for the ICAI exam can choose from the following test cities: Kuwait, Dubai, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Kathmandu, Doha, Muscat, Kuwait, and Kampala (Uganda).
