Himachal Government Launches ‘Har Ghar Pathshala’ to Provide Online Classes to Students; CM Jairam Thakur


January 07, 2021: Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur took an initiative named ‘Har Ghar Pathshala’ on his birthday. He also shared the benefits of the initiative and its role in providing online classes for state students.

CM Jairam Thakur stated that the government has started ‘Har Ghar Pathshala’ to ensure online classes benefit the students. He added that the use of Doordarshan was also ensured to educate the students.

While interacting with students through a live conference in Himachal Pradesh, the CM expressed the need to take the exam for the students to evaluate themselves and not be a burden.

He emphasized the stress and fear that students undergo to achieve good results in an exam, examination is a process of excelling in academics, a method that helps evaluate and assess the growth of a student.

Furthermore, he provided the reason for judging measuring performance only on the basis of the good marks. The reason behind this is engraving exam stress into students. He advised students to prepare for the exams beforehand to win against the examination pressure and tension.

Jai Ram Thakur quoted the students as the future of the Nation. He expressed the desire for the students to work hard with dedication to achieve their goals. Adding to this Thakur advised the students to honor and obey their parents and teachers as they are the actual architects giving shape to their life and career.

Moreover, CM Jairam recommended them not to take any shortcuts to accomplish success and to be safe, secure and careful during this pandemic condition. He spoke up about considerable and beneficial scenarios and norms of new normal have reflected the endless possibilities.

The Chief Minister maintained the initiatives taken by the state government to ensure that students do not suffer in pursuing education in this pandemic. Though he also referred that there is no better alternative for offline classes. Online classes have proved as a blessing to the students in pandemic providing a chance to learn with modern technology.

Jairam praised the students for the effort they have put in and instruct the state education department to consider all the opinions offered by the students for making Himachal Pradesh more advance. In the end, he also applauded PM Narendra Modi for guiding the nation in this Covid-19 condition and encouraged the scientists for working to develop the vaccine.
