The Government of Haryana recently declared that the schools will be reopened for classes 6 to 8 from the first week of February.
Earlier, the State Government had announced that schools in Haryana will remain closed for students of classes 1 to 8 and examinations will be conducted online from January 2021.
The government of Haryana has not yet announced a specific date for the reopening of schools for classes 1 to 8. Online assessment will be conducted through the AVSAR app which was designed by the Education Minister.
For the online classes, students are required to register on the AVSAR app, and the monthly assessments will also be conducted through app only. Thus, teachers are notified to make sure that the students register in the app for their classes as well as their assessments.
This decision was shared by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) Haryana. The Government of Haryana has taken this new measure to check the spread of the new strains of COVID 19.
Haryana Government has announced that the classes will be continued in online mode through EDUSAT and examination will also be commencing from the first week of January 2021 in online mode.
School timings have been changed for the students of classes 9 to 12 because of the cold wave condition persisting at Haryana. The classes are now conducted from 10 am to 1 pm.
