Haryana Govt Cancels HBSE 12th Exam 2021; Evaluation Scheme Releasing Soon


HBSE 12th Exam 2021 (Cancelled): As per Haryana Government's latest announcement, HBSE 12th Exam 2021 have been canceled for all students in the state due to increasing coronavirus cases in the country.

The decision to cancel HBSE 12th Board Exams 2021 was made by Haryana Board of School Education soon after CBSE’s decision to cancel Class 12th Board Exam. 

Referring to the Haryana Board 12th Exam 2021, State Education Minister Kanwar Pal stated that the decision to cancel the examination was taken in view of current pandemic situation and to ensure the safety of students. "We have also decided to cancel the Class 12 board exams in the state which were to be conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education", he further added.

For HBSE 12th Board Exams 2021 result and evaluation process, the education minister stated that the Haryana Board will take required steps and share the detailed process for the same, soon. 

Earlier, on April 15, the Haryana Board of School Education, BSEH had released a notice for canceling HBSE Class 10th Exam 2021. The decision was also made to prevent the increase of Covid-19 cases. 

A state-wide lockdown was announced in Haryana on May 3rd, following which Class 12th board exams were also postponed to a later date. To ensure the safety of students, the board decided to review the situation and make the final decision on the exam commencement. 

Later, the State Government and Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) decided to conduct HBSE Class 12th board exams in home centres. In such cases, exam dates would be notified 15 days prior while the exam would be based on objective-type questions for 1.5 hours duration. However on May 31, the state board announced that its decision would follow centre's move. 

Hence, soon after the centre announced cancelling CBSE Class 12 Exam 2021, Haryana board also released its announcement to cancel board exams in states. Haryana Board Class 12th Examination 2021 was earlier scheduled from April to May 2021.
