On June 03, 2021, Thursday, Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) released the Evaluation guidelines for the preparation of Gujarat Board Class 10 Result 2021 in the states.

As per the guidelines released by Gujarat Board for all district education officers, GSEB Class 10th Exam 2021 result will be prepared based on the marks secured by the students in class 9th periodic tests, and class 10th unit tests.
The schools in Gujarat State have been directed to consolidate the result from June 04 to June 10, 2021. The GSHSEB Class 10th Result 2021 will be uploaded on the board's website from June 08, to June 17, 2021.
Following the upload of the GSHSEB Class 10th Result 2021, the result will be released for all students to check by the last week of June on the GSHSEB's official website. Students will be able to collect their mark sheets and certificates from their respective schools in the second week of July.
For GSHSEB Class 10th Result 2021 preparation, schools will form a school result committee under the guidance of the school principal. The committee will be responsible for the internal evaluation of students’ scores.
The internal evaluation for class 10th result preparation will be done on the basis of result evaluation guidelines released by the Gujarat Board.
As per GSHSEB’s guidelines, “Those students who fail to achieve 26 marks in each subject (out of total 80) and 7 marks out of 20, will be mass promoted. In the report card’s result column of such students, ‘qualified for secondary school certificate’ will be mentioned”.
CBSE Class 12 Result 2021: Objective Criteria Expected to be Out in Two Weeks
The marks secured by students in the first, and second-period test out of 50 marks in class 9th will be further converted into 40% and will carry a maximum score of 20 marks.
Class 10th assessment marks will also be taken into account. The maximum 30 marks for the first unit test, which are conducted through online and offline means for class 10th, will be converted into 37.5 per. Accordingly, marks will be allotted to students.
Students will be graded on the basis of A to D grades, and marks will be allotted to them based on the guidelines of the Gujarat board. If students remain absent in any of the assessment criteria, they will be graded 0 marks.
Earlier, GSHSEB Board has also cancelled the conduction of Gujarat Class 12th Board Exam 2021 in the states due to the ongoing pandemic. The result criteria for the same is also expected to be released soon by the exam authority.
