Google is giving $1000 scholarships to the Selected female candidates for the School Year (session) 2022-23. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is December 10, 2021.
Google has invited Applications for the Generation Google Scholarship from women candidates who want to make a career in the field of Computer Science. This scholarship will support the students pursuing computer science degrees to excel in technology. Candidates belonging to Asia-Pacific countries can apply for this scholarship till December 10,2021,11:59 PM (IST).
Interested candidates will have to submit their resume/CV mentioning all technical projects,community engagement and academic transcripts they have been a participant of. Along with this applicants may also submit two 400-word essays in English on the topics provided.
These essays will be checked to assess the commitment of the candidate towards diversity,equity, inclusion & financial need. The selection of candidates for scholarship benefits will be based on all these factors. The selected female students will receive a $1,000 scholarship for the year 2022-23.
Generation Google scholarship : Eligibility Criteria
Female candidates matching the below mentioned eligibility are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme of Google :
- They must Currently be enrolled in a Full-time Bachelor’s degree at an accredited university in Asia-Pacific countries for the session 2021-22.
- They must be enrolled in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Candidates should have a strong Academic background along with good leadership qualities
Generation Google scholarship : Terms & Conditions
- The Scholarship amount provided by Google must be spent on books, tuition fees,supplies and equipment required for their classes at primary university.
- Candidates who get selected for the scholarship will be verified, and all the payments will be made directly to the student which has to be used for education-related expenses.
- Candidates who do not maintain the eligibility conditions will straight away get withdrawn from the Scholarship benefits.
- Selected female students will get instructions from Google about how to receive the award and other related details.
- Google employees will not be eligible to apply for this scholarship programme by Google.
