Goa Board Class 12th Result 2021: Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHE) has released the marking scheme for Class 12th Result 2021 preparation after the cancellation of board examination in the states due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As per the circular released by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on June 25, 202, Friday, the Goa Board Class 12th Exam 2021 result will be evaluated based on students marks in class 10th, 11th, and 12th unit test, and final examination.
The board has requested the higher secondary schools to follow the 30:30:40 method for result evaluation for all theoretical subjects. As per the result evaluation scheme, 30 percent marks will be evaluated based on the average of three subjects in class 10th.
The 30 percent marks will be evaluated based on students’ performance in class 11th final theoretical examination, while the remaining 40 percent marks will be awarded to students based on their performance in class 12th unit tests/mid-term/periodical tests.
Further, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHE) will evaluate the marks for practical examination based on the actual marks uploaded by the schools.
Referring to the Goa Board Class 12th Result 2021 Marking Policy, the GBSHE stated that due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic situation in the country, the education board faced many difficulties in delivering a fair, and unbiased results evaluation marking scheme.

As per the objective of the policy, students’ results will be prepared with transparency and based on the realistic performance of the student. “The assessment policy should follow tranquility, flexibility, and authenticity to maintain sanctity and credibility of the examination" the board further stated.
The Goa Board Marking Policy further adds that students who may not be satisfied with the result release, and marks allotted to them based on the evaluation scheme will be offered with an opportunity to appear for the written examination.
The written examination for unsatisfied students will be conducted when the covid-19 conditions in the country will be conducive. The marks secured by the candidates in the written exam will be considered final.
