FYJC Admission 2020: Special Round 2 Schedule Announced for Pune, Check Details Here


The Deputy Director of Education, Pune, announced the special round 2 admission schedule for the First Year Junior College (FYJC) class 11 admission on January 1, 2021.

The Education Department has allotted 40,013 seats in the first round, 23,120 seats in the second round and 12,461 seats in the third round of the previously conducted regular rounds of admission.

The admission process for class 11 FYJC was stopped on September 9, 2020, because of the time-delayed by the Supreme Court’s implementation of the quota for Maratha Community in Jobs and Education. The FYJC admission process then resumed on November 26, 2020.

According to the schedule released on January 1, 2021, the vacancy list for the special round FYJC admission will be published online on the official website which also consists of quota seats surrendered by Junior Colleges. 

With the commencement of the special round FYJC admission, the bifocal admission procedure for the candidates who were previously admitted will also be started. 

Candidates who have applied for the special round 2 FYJC admission could edit and update option form online until January 4, 2021, 3 pm stated the schedule.

Dattatray Jagtap, the Director of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Department stated, “Every student must give his/her consent to participate in this round. So check if the option form is locked or not.”

The officials will be releasing the Special Round 2 FYJC admission seat allotment result online on January 5, 2021, at 6 pm. The cut-off list for the special round admission will also be displayed and candidates will be intimidated with SMS. 

Candidates whose names appear in the Special Round 2 FYJC admission should confirm their admission in the allotted colleges from January 6 to 8, 2021. 

Jagtap stated that the confirmation, rejection, or cancellation of the seats offered in the special round 2 FYJC admission should be done by the candidates. Considering the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, junior colleges should college the fee through online payment gateway, bank transfer and e-wallets approved by the Indian Government or the Reserve Bank of India. 

The vacancy list after the completion of the special round 2 FYJC admission will be displayed online on January 9, 2021.
