Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Chairs Meeting on Indian Knowledge Systems, Check Details Here


Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has chaired a high-level committee of Indian Knowledge Systems today, December 11, 2020. 

The online committee meeting was held today to discuss different topics, including Indian Knowledge Systems, along with the plan of action for the next three months and the next one year were held.

During the high-level committee mission on Indian Knowledge Systems, Secretary of Department of Higher Education Professor Anil Sahasrabushe, Padma Bhushan Dr Anil Prakash Joshi, and Padma Shri Chamu Krishna Shastri attended the meeting.

Other members at the meeting were Dr Shashibala, Dr Shailendra Raj Mehta, Mr AB Shukla, Professor Kapil Kapoor, and Professor Vijay Raghavan.

Ramesh Pokhriyal, Education Minister, while speaking about the committee on Twitter added that the Mission High-Level Committee of Indian Knowledge Systems was held along with Professor Vijay Raghavan, Prof Anil Sahasrabudhe, Secretary - Dept. of Higher Education - Padma Bhushan Dr Anil Prakash Joshi, Dr Shailendra Raj Mehta, Dr Shashibala, Shri A.B. Shukla, Prof Kapil Kapoor, Padma Shri Chamu Krishna Shastri.

Additionally, the minister further highlighted that the plan of action for the upcoming three months, and one year had been made.

Apart from this, the education minister recently attended a seminar with the students and parents with other stakeholders related to JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021 exams along with CBSE exams. 

While answering the questions related to the examinations, the minister informed that the department would be holding the JEE Main and NEET entrance examinations according to the schedule and the exams will not be postponed further.
