XLRI Jamshedpur Admission Process 2022: Check Criteria, Dates, XAT Cut off, and Eligibility

XLRI Jamshedpur Admission process 2022 has been released for admission to PGDM-BM/ HRM courses offered by the institute. XAT 2022 Result has been declared on Jan 17, 2022. ​XLRI Jamshedpur has released the category-wise and program-wise XAT 2022 cut offs for admission to PGDM BM and HRM programs. • PI Shortlist Status has also been released by XLRI Jamshedpur based on XAT 2022 scores. To check the shortlist status, candidates need to log in to their dashboard on the official website- xatonline.in.
• Shortlisted candidates have to fill out the application form and book a slot for the Personal Interview round. Like the previous year, XLRI Jamshedpur will not conduct a GD round this year as well owing to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Check XAT PI Preparation

• To finalize their seats in the college, students will be required to confirm their seats by paying the first installment of the course fee.

For candidates who applied for XAT 2022 but not XLRI admissions till Dec 10, XLRI Jamshedpur opened the additional registration window till Dec 31 to apply for XLRI admissions and select the preferred courses.

XLRI Jamshedpur Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for XLRI Admission 2022 are:

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• No minimum percentage criteria have been mentioned by the college.
• Candidates have to appear for XAT 2022 to apply for admission to PGDM Business Management (BM) and PGDM Human Resource Management (HRM)
• Candidates in the final year of the degree or who are waiting for the results are also eligible to apply.
• If the admission is offered to the final year candidate then he/she has to submit the final mark sheet or degree certificates before the due date provided by the college.
• Freshers can also apply because work experience is not mandatory.
• Only relevant work experience will be taken into consideration.
• Candidates should have a strong and consistent academic background.

XLRI Jamshedpur Admission Process 2022

XLRI Jamshedpur selection/ admission process 2022 will be based on the scores obtained by the candidates in XAT 2022, their performance in personal interview, essay, their past academic records, and relevant work experience. The details of XLRI Admission Process 2022 are given below for your reference:

Stage 1: XAT 2022 Registration and XLRI Program Application

• The first step to apply for XLRI was to register and appear for XAT 2022 on January 2, 2022.
• The Last date to apply for XAT 2022 was December 10, 2021.
• Candidates could fill out XAT 2022 and XLRI program application forms at the same time as the application form is common for XAT and XLRI admission.
• XAT 2021 conducting authority has provided the facility to apply for XAT 2022 and for one or multiple management programs of XLRI with a common application form.
• While opting for a management program candidate had to pay INR 300/- per program.

Stage 2: Apply for XLRI till Dec 31, 2021, if missed out while filling XAT Application form

• Candidates who applied for XAT 2022 but not the XLRI program, could do so till Dec 31, 2021
• Candidates had to apply for admission to XLRI program by paying an additional fee of INR 300.

Stage 3: Shortlisting of Candidates for PI Round

• After the declaration of XAT 2022 Result and Cut off, XLRI releases its PI shortlist status based on XAT 2022 Cut off.
• This shortlist is for the final selection round.
• XLRI selects the candidates based on their section-wise score and overall score. If the candidate is unable to score the minimum cut off then he/she will be considered eligible for admissions.
• The shortlist depends upon XAT 2022 percentile score and the place of a candidate in the XLRI merit list of shortlisted candidates.
• Then the selected candidates have to appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Stage 4: Book Slot for PI round

Shortlisted candidates need to book a slot for appearing in the PI round. The steps to book slot for XLRI XAT PI round are given below:

• Log in using your XAT id and password.
• To book a slot, choose the required date and time slot from the given options.

Stage 4: PI Round

• Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the PI round. Read: XAT GD-PI Tips
• All the candidates will be evaluated based on their performance in these rounds. These rounds are conducted to judge the interpersonal skills, business knowledge, communication skills, general knowledge, etc. of a candidate.
• These rounds will be conducted in February and March 2022 in online mode.

Stage 5: Final Admission Offer

Final admission list will be created based on parameters including XAT 2022 scores, past academic records of a candidate, performance in Personal Interviews, relevant work experience, essay scores, extracurricular activities. The weightage assigned to these parameters is tabulated below:

XLRI Jamshedpur Admission 2022: Fee Structure

The total fees of the college for a year is 11.80 Lakhs for the 2yr PGDM BM & HRM programs (is subject to change accordingly).

The fee mentioned does not include the personal expenses of a student. Hostel and mess charges are not included in the tuition fees.
