CAT 2020 was conducted on November 29, 2020. The afternoon session (Slot 2) of CAT 2020 was slightly tougher than slot 1. The candidates felt that the VARC section in CAT 2020 Slot 2 question paper was of moderate difficulty. In accordance with CAT Exam Pattern, the section contained a total of 26 questions, out of which only 5 were TITA-based. As per CAT VARC Paper Analysis, attempting 16 to 19 questions was enough to fetch 99 percentile in the section. The DILR slot 2 paper was moderate to difficult. Contrastingly, the QA section of CAT 2020 was tougher than the previous year. CAT 2020 Question Paper Nov 29 Slot 2: Sectional Analysis
CAT 2020 Slot 2 was conducted between 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The overall difficulty level of this slot was reported to be moderate to difficult.
- VARC consisted of 26 questions. This section was easier to attempt than the VARC section of slot 1 CAT 2020.
- Like the previous Slot there were 4 Reading Comprehension passages in the section.
- First one was on ‘Piracy in International Waters’, the second one was on ‘Renewable Energy Technologies’, third one was on ‘study of visual culture’, and the last one was on ‘Aggression - Theory and Models’
- First RC consisted of 4 MCQs, Second RC consisted of 5 MCQs, Third RC consisted of 5 MCQs, and the last RC consisted of 4 MCQs
