Delhi University has issued an advisory and clarification to the students notifying about the fake notice regarding DU reopening date and start of physical classes.
A notice is being circulated on social media that Delhi University colleges will reopen for physical classes from January 3, 2021. However, the University has clarified that the notice is fake and not to be relied upon.

DU’s Fake Notice
As per reports, the fake notice about DU reopening is a look-alike of actual DU notices. The notice was marked on a letter head of Delhi University and went viral on social media. The University has now taken action against it and has issued a clarification notice and claimed that it's fake news.
As per the DU fake notice, the DU is all set to reopen on January 3, 2021 in physical mode. No more online classes to be continued and attendance is strictly compulsory from DU reopening date.
It further reads that any students found lacking in attendance hereafter will not be allowed to sit for DU semester examinations, Internal examinations, Practicals, Viva-Vice, Projects, Oral (Moot Courts) Apprenticeship, Internship, Field Work, etc. for the academic year 2020-2021.
As soon as the notice went viral, Delhi University informed that it has not made any such announcement and it stand fake.
