Delhi University has recently announced the addition of five additional undergraduate seats in every affiliated college of the university. The seats will be supernumerary, that is, over and above the sanctioned strength.
The DU administration has taken the decision after considering the request of affiliated colleges. A committee explored the possibility to provide few seats to the colleges in view of the COVID-19 pandemic for admission in UG (undergraduate) courses.
As per a notification issued by the university, “The Competent Authority of the University has approved the recommendation of the committee for 5 admissions under 'College - University seats' in the current academic session 2020-2021.”
