Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University: First Batch Admission 2021-22 to Start from July 6


The admission process for the first batch at the Delhi government’s Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University has been decided to commence from July 6, 2021, onwards for 39 programmes.

In the 2019 budget speech, the Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia first announced the proposal for a university and the bill to establish the university was passed at the end of 2019 in the Delhi Assembly. 

Students interested in applying for admissions at the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University must note that the courses being offered include both full-time and part-time diploma programmes for courses such as Applied Arts, Fashion Design, Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Pharmacy and Printing Technology. 

The bachelor programmes offered at the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University are different job-oriented courses for BA, BBA, BCA, BCom, BSc, BMS and BTech degrees. Meanwhile, the two postgraduate degree courses available are Master in Computer Applications and MTech (Tool Engineering).

Candidates must note that the admissions for the aforesaid degree courses at the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University will be done based on the class 12th marks. While the admissions to the diploma courses will be done based on scores obtained in a Common Entrance Test. 

Earlier, the Delhi government had announced 6000 enrolments in Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University as part of its first batch. Out of which, 4500 students will be admitted for diploma courses and 1500 students will be admitted for degree courses in the varsity. 

Currently, there are around 14 campuses of the university, which have been established by making pre-existing skill centres, polytechnic institutes, institutes of tool engineering and the Netaji Subhas University of Technology.
