For challenging the assessment, students will have to go through a 2 stage process. In the first stage, they will be shown their copy of the answer script and in the 2nd stage, they will be able to challenge the assessment.

To apply for the procurement of the answer script, the students will be required to submit INR 300 per question paper. Following this, if the student wishes to go ahead with the re-evaluation, then he will be required to submit a fee of INR 2500 per question paper.

Students will be given a time window of 30 days from the declaration of result for the first phase and 45 days for the 2nd phase. This system came into effect by the orders of the Governor's Secretariat, who is also the chancellor for all state universities.

For the re-evaluation committee, the HoD will prepare a panel of four experts. The VC of the University and of the controller of examination will select 2 experts. The subject expert will be selected by the committee created by the VC.

To make sure that bias does not creep in, the original marks as awarded by the examiner will be hidden. Following this, the experts will re-evaluate the answer script and give a score accordingly.

In case the expert committee awards more than 20% of the score given by the examiner, action will be taken against that person. If 3 such cases are found, the full remuneration of the question paper will be withheld. If there are more than 5 cases, then the examiner will be banned from assessment duties for 2 years.
