Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE), will be conducting offline board exams for Class 10 and Class 12. Students who cannot attend the exams because of Covid will be intimated for the Special Complimentary Exams.
Chhattisgarh Board confirms that as CGBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams will be conducted offline only, students who are Covid-Positive will not be allowed to enter the exam halls. Instead, CGBSE has decided to re-conduct the exams for these students who will not be able to attend the exams.

Students who are not directly affected by Covid-19 will also fall into this category and will have to appear for the Special Exam to be held later. Those absent students in the name list will be marked 'C' and will not be given marks. This will be considered as a pass in that subject. During the Special Exam, these students will be given a second chance and marks will be awarded as per their performance.
As per Chhattisgarh Board Class 10 and 12 Date Sheet 2021, the 10th exam is to be held from 15th April to 1st May 2021. Following completion of the secondary exams, CG Board 12th Exam 2021 will be held from 3rd May to 24th May 2021.

Exam Centers will allow only 50% of students of total seating capacity to be seated in a classroom for the CGBSE Board Exam 2021. Social distancing needs to be compulsorily observed in classrooms with the proper seating arrangement. Students, teachers and staff need to mandatorily wear masks while they are at the exam centres.
