In an initiative to increase cyber awareness, the center is all set to introduce cybersecurity awareness at the school level. The initiative is supposed to increase cyber knowledge from the grass-root level.
The government has further plans to progressively introduce the defensive and offensive aspects of the cyber field at higher educational institutes and IITs. The initiative would make the next generation more cyber aware. This would also help decrease cybercrime and prevent any fraud through online mediums.

The government has initiated all the included institutions to start the implementation of this cybersecurity awareness programme. The notice which announced the plan also said that the higher educational institutes are instructed to encourage and promote the academic faculty to start work on the same.
Supporting cybersecurity startups and hackathons conductions were some of the key points which were highlighted.
In his Mann Ki Baat programme aired on August 30, the prime minister also emphasized the need to provide the right kind of toys to children. Instead of only looking at toys as a medium of entertainment, they could be turned into tools of learning. He also called for the strengthening of the design and manufacturing base in the country.

This is also supported by NEP 2020, which envisages the integration of toys with learning. To turn this into a reality, the ministry of education plans to organize Toy Hackathons. The hackathons would conceptualize the creation of products that are affordable and safe. This Would increase the skill and also provide skilled education.
The notification has also asked the Vice-Chancellors and Principal of Universities and Colleges to note the name of people in their institutions who have written papers on integrated play earning. If found viable, the outcomes of their research might be included in the NEP 2020.
The notice also asked the institutes to promote and encourage research work related to play-based learning. The institutes were informed to submit their papers related to this field on the UGCs University Activity Monitoring Portal by December.
