CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2020 Registration Deadline Extended till Dec 21; Apply Now @cbse.nic.in

As per the official notice by CBSE, the registration deadline has been extended for Single Girl Child Scheme 2020. As a fact, students can now submit their applications till December 21, 2020. Earlier, the last date was set as December 10, 2020. 

Candidates eligible for the CBSE scholarship program can submit the applications for the scholarship program on the official website, cbse.nic.in. The board has also extended the last date to submit renewal applications till December 21, 2020. Meanwhile, hard copies of submitted documents can be sent by January 8, 2021.

The CBSE scholarship scheme aims to recognize the efforts of the parents in promoting education among girls, along with provisioning support to meritorious students.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2020: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should check the below-mentioned eligibility criteria before applying for the scholarship program;

• For the CBSE scholarship scheme, girls who have qualified for class 10 examinations in 2020 from the CBSE affiliated schools are eligible to apply. 
• Obtained a minimum of 60 per cent marks in the CBSE class 10 board exams and are in Class 11 and 12 in a school affiliated with the CBSE with tuition fees less than Rs. 1500 per month during the academic year. 
• The scholarship will be provided to Indian nationals only. 

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2020: How to Apply 

Candidates should follow the simple steps given below to apply for scholarship;

Step 1: Go to the official website of CBSE.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Scholarship Scheme link provided.

Step 3:  Tap on Fresh Applications and enter the roll number and date of birth. 

Step 4: Mention the details in the Scholarship application form.

Step 5: Note down the Registration Number appearing on the screen.

Step 6: Print the undertaking for future references.

Step 7: Prepare an affidavit based on the format provided.

Step 8: Upload the necessary documents. 

Step 9: Enter the Submit Button.
