After the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, the board is now in the process of preparing a result objective criteria.
CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi released a statement, stating that the board may take about two weeks to decide, finalize and release objective criteria for CBSE Class 12th Result 2021 objective criteria for all affiliated schools.
Class 12th Board students will now be given grades based on the new result evaluation criteria, and accordingly, their board results will be prepared. After the release of objective criteria, the board will prepare the CBSE Class 12th Result 2021 in a time-bound manner.
Students will also be offered an opportunity to appear for CBSE Class 12 Exam 2021 in a physical manner if they are not satisfied with the result release, or marks allotted to them.
The physical examination for students who are not satisfied with their results will be held once the number of coronavirus cases falls in the states. The option will be available to students when the situation becomes conducive for conducting exams.
Board secretary Anurag Tripathi stated that the result for class 12th students will be announced before the start of the university admission process. The University admission process for the year 2021 is expected to start in the month of August.
CBSE has framed a high-powered committee for setting up well-defined objective criteria for CBSE Class 12 Result 2021. The Board has decided to compile the results of Class 12 students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner.
The committee comprises 12 members including Joint Secretary of Minister of Education, Director of Directorate of Education, Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Commissioner of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, representative of Chairman of UGC, Director of School Education of Chandigarh, DDG Statistics of Ministry of Education, Representative of Director of NCERT, two representatives from the schools, Director of CBSE (IT) (Academics) and Controller of Examination of CBSE.
CBSE has asked the Committee to submit its report within 10 days from the date of issue of the orders. As per the statement released by the Board, the Committee will be informed shortly about the schedule of the first meeting for discussion on the issue.
After the release of the Class 12th Board Exam 2021 Result, students will be able to check the same by visiting the official website of CBSE at cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.gov.in, and clicking on the latest result link available on the screen.
Additionally, after the release of the CBSE Class 12th Exam 2021 cancellation statement, many states like Haryana, Rajasthan, and Goa have also released their announcement of canceling board examinations in the states.
The result evaluation criteria for other state board examinations are also expected to be released soon by their respective board exam authority.
