CBSE Board Exams 2021: The officials report that the 2021 CBSE Board Exams may be extended, but will not be delayed. The officials after confirming that the exams would be conducted offline, highlighted the point that the Board is open to suggestions and would apply the best strategy for the exams.
A senior official from CBSE stated that the class 10 and 12 board exams are likely to be held as per the schedule of February and March. Sanyam Bhardwaj, CBSE’s Controller of Examination stated the board has no plans to delay the CBSE Board Exams 2021.

However, he also stated that the Board is open to all suggestions and options and would consider all of them to apply the best-suited strategy. Bhardwaj clarified during a press report that they have no intentions to conduct the exams via online mode and also mentioned how the board has successfully organized the Compartment Exams amidst the pandemic.
He said that based on the previous experience of successful conduction of offline exams, they have full faith in holding the 2021 Board Exams offline.

In response to the dates of the examination, he said that they have no plan to delay the exams scheduled in February and March, and added that they are hopeful that the states will reopen the schools soon and the students will get time to prepare for the exams.
About the practical exams that play an integral role in the sum total of marks of class 10 and 12 CBSE results, Bhardwaj stated that the schools will be given more time to hold the same following all the precautionary norms of COVID-19.
He also said that generally, schools get a time of around 1.5 months to hold the practical exams while this year they will be given more than 2 months to conduct the practical examinations abiding by the guidelines and protocols of COVID-19. The Board has decided to provide more gaps between the exams considering the circumstances due to the pandemic.
