CBSE Board Exams 2021: Beware of Fake News on Class 10, 12 Exam Dates, says CBSE; Read Details Here


Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a circular regarding misinformation on CBSE board exam dates. This notice was issued to curb any fake news that parents of students might see on social media or the internet. 

Earlier, around November this year, CBSE had issued a notice alerting the parents and students against the spreading of misleading exam dates

CBSE has urged the parents, schools, and the students to not believe any other source other than the official website of CBSE. The board mentioned in the circular that all latest updates will be made available for the public on its official website only.

Other than that, CBSE requested the stakeholders to not trust any other source of information. CBSE issued this circular because of numerous reports of CBSE exam dates that were circulating on the internet.   

The official notification read, ‘It has come to the notice of the CBSE that on several Social Media platforms and in Newspapers, dates/ months for starting of Class 10 and 12 Board’s examinations, and practical examinations are being circulated. As this circulated information is not, hence creating panic amongst the schools, students, and parents.’
