The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the sample paper and marking scheme for Class 12th Mathematics board exam 2021. The board has released the sample paper on its official website - cbseacademic.nic.in.
Students who will appear for the CBSE 12th board examination 2021 can download the sample papers and marking scheme to understand the question pattern of Class 12 board exam.
According to the sample paper and marking scheme released by CBSE for Class 12th Maths Paper, the question paper will be divided into two parts — A and B. It will be compulsory to attempt both parts of the paper. Part A will carry 24 marks while part B will carry 56 marks.

The Class 12th Maths sample paper released by CBSE has objective type questions in the first part and those in the second part will be descriptive type. Part A and Part B of the question paper will carry internal choices.
As per the released sample paper, Part A of the Maths paper will be divided into two sections — 1 and 2. There will be 16 very short answer type questions in section 1 and section 2 will have two case studies. Each case study will have 5 case-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It will be mandatory to attempt four out of the five MCQs.
While Part B of the question paper will have three sections — 3, 4 and 5. Section 3 will contain 10 questions of two marks each. Section 4 comprises seven questions of three marks each and section 5 will have three questions of five marks each.
