Latest: CBSE Board Exam 2021: Education Minister’s Live Session with Teachers Postponed to Dec 22 @4 pm
Board is currently facing a major challenge of reopening the schools and conducting the CBSE Board Exams 2021 for around 30 lakh students in a pandemic situation where there is a serious threat to the health and safety of students.
The Union Education Minister is holding a three-way dialogue with parents, teachers, and students in order to get an idea of their views and opinions on this matter. The minister has initiated a webinar with the teachers on December 21, 2020, as a three-way dialogue.
The Minister has recently reached out to the students, inviting their suggestions about the syllabus, schedule, and mode of the upcoming CBSE Board 2021 class 10 and 12 examinations, if the COVID-19 situation remains the same.
The Board had earlier defied false news that claimed that it was planning to conduct the examination via online mode.
Considering the delay in reopening of schools and the release of the CBSE Board Exams date-sheet, many students had started speculating that the exams might be conducted online.
The aforesaid rumor was supported by the argument that this year the Board has conducted all its procedures via online mode, be it from registrations for the examination to classroom operations.
However, the Board defied all these reports and officially stated that the exams will be held via pen-paper mode only. Recently, again the CBSE officials clarified that there is no such proposal for the online conduction of exams.
