"I believe in a collaborative way of working and empowering others with my skills and experience"
Leadership for me is all about motivating your team, overcoming challenges together, involving them in goal setting and utilizing their respective skills to achieve a vision and mission. And if I talk about myself, I am always open to take up new responsibilities as a Leader and I also like to challenge myself, try new adventures and build new skills by pulling me out of my comfort zone. This helps me to keep pace with the latest trends in the education sector and pass on the same knowledge and information to my wonderful team as well as students.
What teaching pedagogies have been used by faculty members of your college to educate students?
"Faculties use case studies and organize role plays to educate students about latest technologies"
I encourage my faculty members to practice case based teaching as it helps to engage students in the process of real-world decision making. And they use case studies as an example to relate to a concept while teaching it to students and they too are encouraged to conduct research and apply their classroom learning to find innovative solutions for some real world issues. In addition to this, our teachers use the concept of role-plays to educate students beyond books and curriculum and this helps students to understand and explore realistic situations and evolve with different strategies to manage the given task.
