Apart from this, developing best practical learning methodologies, course material, audiovisual/multimedia materials and PowerPoint presentations to teach students, organizing group discussions, completing syllabus within stipulated time, preparing question papers after consultation with the Course Coordinator to make sure course content allows students to meet outcomes associated with that course also comes under the scope of my responsibilities. How do you introduce a practical and industry-oriented approach toward subjects?

"We organize expert sessions for corporate managers and industrial visits for industrial exposure of students"

For the purpose of introducing an industry-driven and practical learning approach towards subjects, I take my students on industrial visits and also arrange expert talks in collaboration with Corporate Managers to give an overview to our students of how exactly things work on a ground level and how people and processes work together to fulfill shared goals of an organization

How do you establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

"By being a regular communicator and good listener for them"

With the intention of maintaining a good relationship with everyone, I regularly communicate with them and try to explore their background and the cultural environment they have been brought up in during our interaction. And my interaction time with my students is not restricted to the classroom only but I stay in touch with them after classes as well so that I can know their personal and academic issues and queries and can fix them on time. I also play games with them to teach them the importance of teamwork and that games are fun and also improve learning outcomes. In addition to this, we attend extracurricular events for students, and conduct Role Plays and Activity based Learning programs in the classroom.

And with Faculty members we all work as a team and whenever they need my support, I guide them to the best of my capabilities and also encourage them to collaborate on research work.

How do you guide and prepare your students to survive in such a competitive world?

"By providing customized training programs to them and full support for research projects"

We prepare our students to face this cut-throat competitive world by offering them training suitably as per the current market scenario and helping them in building up a strong personality, knowledge base, communication skills and self-confidence. Therefore, we use case studies to explain concepts to them so that they can relate the things with practical scenarios. Apart from all this, I encourage them to maintain a healthy competitive spirit and compete amongst themselves. And we provide our full support to them to update their knowledge so that participating in the competition will not be stressful and embarrassing. Lastly, they are motivated to consider participating in competitions so that they can assess their strengths and weaknesses.

Being the Dean of the institution, what is your philosophy of leadership?

"Leaderships for me is all about empowering others and making best use of their expertise to achieve institution goals"

I believe in teamwork and a collaborative way of working. And from my experiences, I know that a leader's strength depends upon his bonding with his team members, so a leader should always encourage the team members to provide suggestions and give their best for tasks assigned to them.
