What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“The opportunity and capability to pass down the knowledge I have acquired”

I started my career as a teacher of Physics. I was completely involved in the education sector directly teaching students for many years. As a reason, I can understand the nuances in the teaching-learning process. This experience has definitely helped me in emerging as the ideal head, and guiding the teacher fraternity to do their best.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“Setting examples for others to follow and look up to”

I believe in leading the team by example. We at SBU always focus on student satisfaction and during the process, take up extra classes if required to see that no one is left behind. As a leader, I set procedures to be followed, have regular meetings with my teams. I see that I am open to any problem of teachers or students, and try to resolve them at the earliest.

How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your institute?

“Having a group of dedicated individuals to look after the marketing plans”

The market trend keeps on changing. Right now, the demand is for the courses BBA, BBA Capital market, B.Com and BCA. Among the Engineering streams, Computer Science has a good rush. We have a team working for digital media/social media to promote the University as we are just into our third year of establishment. With the quality of education being provided here, I am sure, this would definitely go a long way in the days to come.
