What are your roles and responsibilities?

“Practical learning for students to choose their aim”

I have been working in the education sector since 2007. Moreover, I give the priority to practical learning for the students. I did not believe in bookish knowledge. Because I feel that practical learning must survive in any sector. Only very few students were interested in economics compared to other subjects. So, I decided to make an interesting practical learning-based subject. It helps them to opt for economics as their career option. My responsibility is to deliver the subject to students for some knowledge and good learning.

How do you bring a practical approach towards subjects and make them industry-oriented?

“Keep the projects and assignments related to current daily affairs and budget”

Several events in the institution make the subject interesting and industry-oriented. I keep giving the students projects and assignments related to current daily affairs, and budget. For example, I also gave them many assignments and surveys in the covid period for a better understanding of situations. It helps to improve the approach to dealing with problems. Moreover, It connected with the real world and personality development. Many companies conducted financial seminars for students' participation. It aids to get some knowledge for pupils.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students?

“By building healthy bonds and teamwork”

The most vital part of any sector is teamwork and bonding. We share a healthy bond inside the campus. Everyone is available for others whenever required. Most of them consult me for any queries related to the budget system in government. Thus, a healthy discussion happens related to all their queries and vice versa. It helps us to stay connected and updated in the market. Enough knowledge in the subject is the only way to transfer to fellow students. I am available for the students at any time. They can call me and discuss anything after college timings. It helps me to keep connected with them.

What are the difficulties the department faced during this pandemic?

“Online classes and WhatsApp sessions as the teaching method for students”

The pandemic period is a tough situation that our institution faces. The biggest challenge is teaching. In many courses, the institute decided to promote students according to their previous records. However, students are facing some serious issues. We started online classes. The outcome is a little better. Students from rural areas are facing difficulties due to connectivity issues. Hence, we started Whatsapp sessions for them. It is the easiest way to connect everyone and accessible for all.

What are the extracurricular activities for students in Sanjivnie Degree College?

“Practical seminars, financial awareness, and current affairs connect the students with the real world”

There are several events conducted on the campus including functions, programs, and sports-related activities. Moreover, practical seminars, events related to financial awareness, and other current affairs are conducted in the institution. We are recovering the placements. Because it has faced a little downfall after a covid period. We slowly made things come back on track. The students sincere towards their goals get placed easily. They put a little extra effort and everyone gets some results at the end.

Effective teaching makes us different from others. It is our backbone. The highly qualified teachers are an asset to the campus. Moreover, they pay attention to every student individually. Our responsibility is to give the best to nurture them. We are very strict and punctual towards attendance for professors and students regularly. We will grow a lot as an institute in the upcoming years by updating with the modern world. Smart classes and new technologies added to the curriculum. On another side, we are focusing on teaching aptitudes.

What valuable advice do you give for students to have a prosperous career?

“Decide the career option and achieve the goal”

Students should decide on career options in the earlier days. It is my primary advice for pupils. Candidates did not divert their interests due to pressure. They should be aware of the needs in life. They try to focus on their goals and skills. It helps them to achieve success.
