BA Journalism and Mass Communication (Hindi) Program

Currently India publishes about 1,000 Hindi dailies that have a total circulation of about 80 million copies as compared to English, which has about 250 dailies with a circulation of about 40 million copies.

And it's not just in print media, but all areas of media from radio, TV to digital are full of opportunities for qualified Hindi Journalists. Regional journalism is thriving, regional TV channels have more viewership, and with the masses in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities consuming more media, Hindi is the language of the masses in India. 

The BA Journalism and Mass Communication (Hindi) program at Bennett University is a skill based, Industry relevant and built on research program that is preparing the next generation of Hindi Journalists.

The Times Group plays a key role in designing, monitoring, and running the program. Eligibility for Journalism and Mass Communication

  • Passed XII standard from any recognised Education Board with minimum 40% marks (Class XII Best of 3 subjects score). 

  • Candidate must have studied Hindi as compulsory subject in X / XII standard.

  • IB candidates should have score of minimum 24

Selection Criteria 

The selection criteria is based on the Best 3 of Class XII score OR Predicted/Actual scores or Percentile Uniform marks in Cambridge (IGCSE) / IBDP.
