Dr. Sandeep Vasant is the Registrar at Navrachana University. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and has experience of more than 15 years in teaching, research, academic and general administration in higher education. He has taught courses such as Object-Oriented Programming, Open-Source Technology and Software Engineering at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has published more than 15+ quality research papers in the International and National journal of repute. He has been invited as an IT Professor to deliver the sessions on ‘Effective classroom teaching and learning using information and communication technology’.

What can an inbound student gain from studying here at your university?

There was a huge gap between Indian and foreign education a decade ago, and it’s an agreeable fact. However, this gap has narrowed down now. Many universities like us have introduced the concept of choice based learning by giving flexibility to students to learn what they wish to. I am sure this will strengthen our international affairs in the coming years.
