What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Teachers should involve in Research-based teaching and come out with the latest information”

Research, Industry connects, Students & Parents relationship and participating in various professional forums keeps me connected with the education sector. According to me, research is the key for all educational institutes

As a Faculty of Management, we offer courses from the Undergraduate to Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD), where we practice Research-based teaching and Learning. We also ensure that our curriculum is meeting the Industry demands. We ensure continuous interaction with industry professionals through expert lectures and Interactions. It helps in grooming the students to make them more employable.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“I would describe my leadership style as transformational”

It is essential to engage people by establishing a good relationship by empathizing with them. My philosophy is to create an environment of mutual trust to foster creativity. Institutions and individuals must be creative and should quickly plan and implement change in their settings. There is a straight association between creativity and significant outcomes such as productivity, quality, and turnover; creative thinking increases the rate of solutions to problems, kindle innovations, revitalizes motivation, upgrades personal skills, and catalyzes effective team performance.

Many factors impact creativity in higher education institutions, such as students’ resistance, universities' organizational structure, faculty attributes, and pedagogical practices. Therefore, as an Academician turned Administrator, I believe that if we provide the right kind of environment to our students and faculties that fosters creativity, we will prepare and empower them for all types of future uncertainties.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Your consistent work and innovative approach will bear fruit of success one day”

Dr. Abdul Kalam has inspired many, and I am one of them. I want to restate his quote, “If you fail, never give up, because FAIL means First Attempt in Learning.” He further said that don’t fear facing failures because even maths starts with Zero only. My advice to the young generation would be to work consistently for achieving their dreams and do not lose hope or give up if you fail, as circumstances can change at any time.
