How would you describe your leadership style?

“Self improvement technique, taking leads by setting example”

According to me, a leader is one who should focus on the overall development of the organizational principles and missions in coordination with a team. For this purpose, as a leader of the institution, I first focus on enhancing and improving my abilities and knowledge, and try to set an example of proficiency for my subordinates. I always try to channelize the potential of the staff members for the best of the institution by creating a vision and strategic goals for achieving academic excellence. Further, I try to put in the best of my efforts to accomplish these goals with adequate supervision and guidance of the faculty members by delegating duties per their forte.

How do you strategize about the key programs for the marketing of your College?

“Print and digital linking of college persona and activities”

We, at KNCW, have developed an all-inclusive strategic plan for the college promotions via print, television and social media platforms. The college advertisements and departmental activities, namely webinars, workshops, and E-contests, are being run on television cable and social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The news of the important announcements and updates regarding college is published in reputed newspapers. The college brochures have been put up in the surrounding areas as well as in newspapers. Various departments of the College have also conducted restricted visits and canvassing as well.

How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practice of industry?

“Practicing skill based courses and women empowerment”

The courses run under the Community College Scheme of the UGC and we ensure that the curriculum designed by the University is implemented and executed correctly. This well-designed curriculum ensures better industry practice by focusing on industry and skill-based courses like B Voc. in Beauty and Wellness, BCA, BBA, PGD in Garment and Construction, and studies related to Banking and Financial Services. We offer valuable training sessions, workshops and seminars with an environment that provides holistic development and growth. We provide an all-inclusive platform to women by imparting quality education with a particular focus on skill development so that no woman is devoid of fruitful education and employment. How do you tend to establish a healthy environment in your College?

“Good relationships and bonding between staff and students”

I always try to create a healthy environment in the college by maintaining good peer interactions, student-faculty relationships and intra-faculty relationships along with healthy physical surroundings. We ensure that a clean, green and ambience atmosphere is created by celebrating together all special events and environment-related days to contribute to mother earth by planting and distributing trees, and pledging our commitment to it. The departments also conduct street plays and rallies to educate people, in turn giving a chance to build stronger bonds with students and staff.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?

“To strive, to seek and never to yield”

Today’s youth must strive to be better citizens of society and seek knowledge to reach new horizons. Above all, they should never yield before challenging circumstances in this time of pandemic and should practice perseverance, resilience, and patience. Each individual should play his/her part to create a symbiotic atmosphere in the society in which hope never dies.
