BBA at PIMG Gwalior

PIMG Gwalior is an autonomous, UGC NAAC accredited ‘A’ grade institution. It was set up  in the year 1997 by Prestige Education Society and is registered with Societies Registration  Act 1860. The program of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at PIMG Gwalior is a  Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, Higher Education Department approved undergraduate degree  program in management, having a duration of 3 years, expanded into six semesters. The  institute is affiliated with Jiwaji University, Gwalior, and is accredited by NAAC ‘A’  certificate, making it an institute of significant repute. 

The institute is a major learning center in Central India and has a systematic process as well as  infrastructure in place to make our students industry-ready. As a part of the curriculum,  students are required to attend the seminars, appear in at least sixteen practice GDs, and give  at least 40 classroom presentations. There are at least 32 organizing committees for national  and international programs which are sponsored for unlimited programs organized by other  institutions across the country. 

Eligibility 

  • Candidates seeking admission in the BBA program must have secured a minimum of  50% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline from a  recognized Education Board. 
  • A candidate who has appeared in 10+2 or other equivalent examination during the  current year as a regular or private candidate, and whose result is yet to be declared  can also apply for admission. Such candidates should produce the certificate of passing the examination before the last date fixed for this purpose, failing which,  his/her admission may be canceled. 

Admission Procedure

  • Admissions are carried out on the basis of merit marks. The admissions will be carried  out by the institute as per the rules and schedule announced by the M.P Higher  Education for Minority Institutions. 
  • Interview/counseling would be conducted on the same day the form gets submitted. If  the forms are submitted by mail, the date of the interview would be informed to the  students prior. Students must also contact the admission committee for routine  updates. 
  • Merit list would be placed on the institute notice board and the website every Monday  during the admission period. 
  • Selected students would need to deposit the tuition fee and caution money within a  week of their name appearing in the merit list. The fee once deposited by him/her  will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell was established at PIMG in the year 2006, with a  mission to develop an institutional mechanism and create entrepreneurial culture among the  faculties and students. Till now, the cell has organized:

  • 4 EACs (Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps), 
  • 2 SDPs on beauty care and treatment & mobile repairing,  
  • 1 BSDP (Business Skill Development Programme) sponsored by MSME, Indore, ∙ and 2 EDPs sponsored by MSME, Indore. 

The core focus of the cell in the future is to act as a regional information center on business  opportunities, processes, technologies, and markets, etc. 

A large number of industries have shown their preferences for undergraduate students  proficient in business and ethics. The program is also approved for selection in defense forces  through the CDS route. BBA graduates are also eligible for administrative positions in central  and state governments.
