Gaurov Pratik Mishra: “General (No reservation)”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)

Gaurov Pratik Mishra: “No, in 2019-2021 we had a physical interview. There were probably 8-10 members in each group. Yes most of them had spoken but only one or two members in my group had spoken only one sentence, so I asked the group to give them a chance to speak and yes it ended with a much informative session. There are two moderators present. Two minutes was given after the topic was revealed. Yes I remember the GD was aggressive, many members wanted to give their opinion but due to shortage of time, only a few are getting a chance to speak. No, we didn't have WAT because we had given the Kiitee management exam and through that only, whoever is clearing the round can go ahead for G.D, and then PI. For the topic, we immediately started to make the points for which we were given 2 minutes. The aspirants should be nervous by looking at the other aspirants who are speaking well because the GD topic was unknown to everyone, it's the ideas and individual presence of mind how to make it more interesting, if you have some facts and figures then well and good or if you are not getting an idea to move ahead then just wait and listen to other member and you will get some idea how to approach for the topic.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Gaurov Pratik Mishra: “The topic for our group was related to Indian Economy and Union Budget”

What were your answers/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Abhitosh Das: “- A jump of 79 positions to 63rd in 2019 from 142 in 2014 in world's Bank doing business

- I also talked about the ease of doing business is increasing

- FDI is getting a huge response from the investors

- I also talk about the Repo rate, Npas, bank credit growth, etch”

Describe the general setting of your Interview.

Gaurov Pratik Mishra: “Yes I remember after the results of GD published, my excitement and nervousness has no boundaries. There were 2-panel members which are also present in GD. 2 faculty were there who had taken PI and one is HOD in Marketing and the other is an associate professor in Economics. The mode of the interview was offline physical mode. The interview lasts for 25 minutes for me. When I started the interview I was stressed but later when the interview moved ahead I managed to be comfortable.

Q1. Tell me about yourself.

Ans. I talked about my career goals my hobbies and then I jumped to the academic session

Q2. A situational based question was asked to me that if I was the Defense Minister of the country.

Ans. My answer to this question was simple I explain what is the role of a defence minister and the responsibilities toward the nation.

Q3. I was asked about my earlier Internship which I did in my Graduation

Ans. I explain to them my role as a marketing and brand role, I learned many new things about marketing and branding

Q4. They asked about my plan 5 years down the line.

Ans. I said them that I want to see myself as a marketing enthusiast and having an end to end knowledge about marketing

Q5. They asked me about my skills like leadership.

Ans. I explain to them my previous role of handling successful sports events, event functions, fest

Gaurov Pratik Mishra: 1. It is one of the best B-school in India having a NIRF ranking of 32

the faculties because most of them are from IIMS and PHD holder
The placement was good every year student got placed in notable companies

What was the reason for you not converting to other colleges? (If any)

Gaurov Pratik Mishra: “Other colleges I don't remember exactly but I had applied to many colleges like Birla Global University, Etc. but the thing is that the Kiit has some extra factor which drives me to study here”
