When you came to the Institute Of Science And Management, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?

“To educate students to become successful is my primary vision”

My vision is to educate students to be successful, ethical, and effective problem-solvers. Life-long learners who will contribute positively to the economic well-being of our region and nation. Those who are prepared to tackle complex challenges to face the world.to achieve the same follow the concept of summative and formative assessment.

What are the challenges you faced to uplift the quality of education of the department?

“To bridge the gap and educate students in the right way is a difficult task”

The biggest challenge of today is education quality to recognize the difference between learning and accepting. Children start their study but do not understand it properly. They forget the difference between how they learn and how much duration of time they take to learn. So, to bridge this gap and educate those students in the right way is a challenge facing the department.

How do you help your student to cope up with the competition being so high in the outside world?

“Provide work-integrated learning, self-awareness programs, and give details about the real world for students”

Self-Awareness program and outlining the terms helps students to learn more. We are providing work-integrated learning opportunities and getting students out into the real world. Our faculties show students how to learn from their mistakes and encourage them to get out of their comfort zones.

What are your views upon the placements and higher education of students from Institute Of Science And Management?

“Implement new ideas, skills and research facilities for students benefits”

It has been found in research that one in three interns do not work. This can be attributed to any reason such as they do not want to work, lack skills or they are not aware of what to do. The deficiency can be overcome by conducting time to time competition among the students or by checking in which areas they are interested. We can also check and implement some ideas to bring them forward.

What are the best practices offered by the department to the students which help them gain necessary skills?

“Workshop, seminars, live projects, quiz and more are given to students to attain good practices”

Our department may conduct different activities from time to time for the growth of students. It includes activities like Webinars/Seminars, Expert talk, Live Project, Student Development Programs(SDP), Quiz, Workshop, etc.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty in Institute Of Science And Management?

“Listen to students' ideas and be honest with them for each activity”

To create a healthy relationship with Students, we should believe in 1 on 1 interaction with them. It is helpful for them, especially those who are struggling with behavioral issues. We should be a part of their events and listen to their ideas or views also. For our fellow faculty, No one likes insincere behavior. When you interrelate with a coworker, be honest. Look to create open connections with your fellow faculty, not transactional ones. This will show that we are invested in the relationship.

What valuable advice would you like to the students to have a prosperous career ahead?

“Stay focused, work hard and access new opportunities”

I would advise them to look for internship opportunities, stay focussed and keep learning no matter what. Everything can be achieved only by the dint of hard work and perseverance. I always advise my students to achieve their goals.
