Leadership is the capacity to transform the vision into reality. It is a social, goal-oriented process that involves a collective vision that gives purpose, ideological values, and self-perceptions of staff and students. It is about taking responsibility for meeting the objectives of the institute and inspiring the team to own up their own responsibility. I believe that everyone is potentially a leader where one has to work out his own strategies to realize a leader within him. The very purpose of my leadership is to produce more leaders out of my students. I want to help students to lead their careers and lives successfully after graduation.

The newly revised syllabus of UG program by the University will bridge the gap between technology and industry

Being the leader, I am responsible to design an organizational structure that can ensure achievement of institutional goals at all levels. Also, it allows for quick and effective decision-making processes. Primary job of the educational leaders is to put emphasis upon student achievement by formulation of challenging, caring and supporting environmental conditions that are conducive to student learning.

The newly revised syllabus of UG program by the University will bridge the gap between technology and industry by providing students with technical expertise and leadership skills needed to advance their career. In KNSIT every student is supported with opportunities for start-ups, projects, innovation clubs, Industrial visits, organizing technical fest etc. to realize one’s own leadership capabilities.

It is essential to provide opportunity for intellectual growth of students in the engineering discipline

It is necessary to develop and support teachers, create constructive working conditions, allocate the resources in an efficient manner. Along with that, formulate appropriate organisational policies and systems and get involved to make an improvement in teaching and learning processes outside the classroom setting.

I believe that a student is both an individual and a social being at the same time. The principal goal of the undergraduate engineering curriculum is to provide opportunity for intellectual growth of students in the engineering discipline and for the attainment of professional competence. We should first make our students versed with the existing trends and make them future ready to accept challenges and advancements. Hence, I insist on the overall personality growth of our students by offering them not only innovative technologies on par with international standards but also ensure them with the best infrastructure to acquire necessary skills.

Our focus for the next decade will be to shape our students to make them technically superior 

With the employment opportunities becoming global, the competition level has also enhanced to global standards. Securing a befitting professional career would become more challenging, in the years to come. In such a scenario, the options before our upcoming Engineers are either to seek employment or get self-employed. Hence, our focus for the next decade will be to shape our students technically superior with sound skills to face the field reality. KNSIT has always been quick to respond to such changes and would do so in future to make our students prepared to work in a constantly upgrading technological world. In addition, campus recruitment feasibility will be explored extensively and expanded through MoU’s with MNCs & industries. As an innovative measure, special interactive sessions are being planned with the Representatives of Banking and other Financial Institutions as well as Global Investors, to give KNSIT students appropriate exposure on the ways and means to secure financial resources for start-up projects and self-employment ventures of our KNSIT students. We are also planning to promote more in-house-researches in the fields of Engineering and Technology by allowing liberal access to KNSIT infrastructure to register our contribution in the Research & Developmental activities, which can push to advance the progress of our country.

We here at the institute prepare our students under the guidance of a Principal who has 30 plus years of Research and Teaching experience and highly qualified faculty to meet the future industry requirements and also to propel themselves as entrepreneurs with their Start-ups or Ventures. These inherent strengths of our college facilitate our students not only to excel in their professional careers but also achieve heights in their life.

I personally believe that students should follow their passion along with regular studies, because one would always be successful in what he/she loves to do. Listen to your heart and choose a career path and commit yourself to excel in it. Don’t look for immediate security and shortcuts. Remember that you are a member of society first, and then a professional.
