Which latest program are you offering in your institute to help students stand apart from the crowd?

"We are providing BCA, BA and B. Sc Degree courses to students"

Our college is offering BCA, B.Sc. in IT and BA in IT at UG level to students. Apart from this, two add-on courses namely “Web Designing and Multimedia” and “Animations and Graphics” are also being offered by us to inculcate technical skills in students and help them develop web-based and multimedia applications along with animations and graphics using various tools. The main benefit of pursuing these courses is that all of them have lucrative career opportunities and salary packages associated with them in the IT and animation industry.

Which factors make the programs of your college worth pursuing for students?

Our courses act as a platform for the students to acquire software development and website creation skills which they can pursue as a full-fledged career after graduation. Additionally, these programs offer students an opportunity to sharpen their skills in the latest animation, gaming and multimedia software tools which they can make a career in by learning to design graphics with visual effects for websites.

Our college offers best quality and employment oriented education and strives to inculcate best practical skills in students. And events and learning sessions like remedial classes, workshops, seminars, webinars and group discussions on the latest IT developments are regularly held in our college. Apart from this, various IT Club activities and discussions with Industry experts are also organized by us to improve technical proficiency and competency of students. Last but not the least, the placement cell of our college prepares and trains students for both higher education courses as well as for industries.

Our courses are designed carefully keeping in mind the expectations and development of the corporate world and hence our courses are equipped with best practices to upgrade the skillsets of students, furnish them with additional qualifications and enhance their employability skills. And after successfully completing our courses, students can go for higher studies like MCA and M.Sc. (IT), and specialization courses. And if I talk about the employment context, there is a great demand for BCA graduates in IT companies, banking and finance sectors, manufacturing industries, academic institutes, hospitals, research and development organizations etc.

For the purpose of exposing our students to the actual job environment before they actually join the corporate world, we conduct workshops, special lectures from industry experts and group discussions on a regular basis. Apart from this, students are educated about the available career opportunities which would be available to them right after college in collaboration with experts through expert talks. 

What challenges have you faced while inculcating new courses in your curriculum?

"Slow learners sometime becomes a challenge for us"

The main challenge in front of us is that all the students irrespective of their learning abilities study the same subject matter at the same speed and there are some slow learners who develop their skills at their own pace and need to be dealt with accordingly. Hence we regularly have remedial classes and revision learning sessions for such students to improve their learning speed.

On what kinds of projects your students are currently working on under their respective courses?

"Our students are developing amazing projects related to web app and software development"

Our students are developing a wide variety of software development projects, website application development along with projects on animation and graphics under their respective courses.

What career options are available for students after pursuing courses from your college?

"Students can either join Software Development Industry or can start their own business"

As far as I have observed the educational and corporate sectors, I can confirm that abundant scopes are available for students after finishing their Graduation from our college. Also Software and Web Application Development is a very demanding area in the IT world with lots of job opportunities not only in India but abroad as well, hence they can work as a Web Application Developer and a Graphic Designer in the private and public sectors companies with attractive packages. Apart from this, they can also set up their own firms independently and Freelancing is another promising career option for them.
