CBSE Term 1 Board Exam 2021: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notice regarding filling OMG sheets during term 1 examination on its official website at cbse.gov.in.
As per the notice released, students of CBSE Class 10th and 12th appearing for the term 1 examination are directed to completely darken the OMR sheet circles to avoid any errors during the result evaluation process.
Additionally, Teachers and Assistant Superintendent who are monitoring the examination are directed to explain the OMR sheet filling instructions to students at the start of exams. The instructions for the same will also be written on the blackboard.
In addition to the OMR sheet instructions released for CBSE Board Term 1 Exam 2021, the board has also published an official video. The video demonstrates the process of choice-filling in the OMR sheet. It is now available for streaming on the Youtube channel at youtu.be/RTQj4x-DxQ.
Students appearing for term-1 examination of CBSE Class 10th and CBSE Class 12th are requested to read the exam instructions and follow the guidelines mentioned by the exam authority in the official notification and admit card.

CBSE Term 1 Board Exam 2021: OMR Sheet Filling Instructions
Students who are preparing to appear for CBSE Term 1 Board Exam are directed to darken the circle completely. The examination board will only consider the answer which has been filled as directed by the exam authority. Read the complete OMR sheet filling instructions below:
- In case students failed to attempt a question, they are advised to only darken the circle under the (#) sign.
- Candidates who failed to fill their OMR sheet as described in the above image will not be entertained, and answers with a completely filled circle will be considered.
- Students must only use either blue or black ballpoint pens to fill their OMR sheets. The use of a gel pen to fill the result OMR sheet is not permitted.
- Students only have to fill a single circle for each answer. They can select from options A, B, C, or D. After completely filling the answer circle, they have to write the option under the “*” option.
- In any case, if students failed to fill a single answer circle as directed, the answer will be considered as per the OMR sheet evaluation answer release.
Students are strictly advised not to leave any answer blank in their respected OMR sheet during the commencement of CBSE Term 1 Exam 2021. Teachers are directed to ensure students are following the instructions released by the board during exams.
Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education has released the examination schedule for both class 10th and class 12th students for the term 1 exam on its official website at cbse.gov.in.
Exams for CBSE Class 12th students will be held from November 16, 2021, to December 22, 2021. Admit cards for the same have also been published on the board’s website for registered candidates to check and download.
