The Assam Government has launched a unique financial scheme to make the students, especially girl students to attend the physical classes after the reopening of schools.
According to the report shared by the Assam Government, the government has planned to offer INR 100 to each girl student who attends physical classes after the reopening of schools in Assam.
The government has also announced that incentives will also be provided to students who keep attending the physical classes in schools and colleges regularly.
The dates for the Assam Board Examination 2021 for classes 10 and 12 were announced by the Education Minister. Accordingly, High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) that is Class 10 exams of Assam Board 2021 will be conducted from May 11, 2021, and for class 12, the exam will be conducted from May 12, 2021.

The results of the Assam Board Examination 2021 for classes 10 and 12 are announced to be released between July 7 and 30, 2021.
The Education Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed that the Assam government would deposit INR 1,500 and INR 2,000 in the bank accounts of Undergraduate and Postgraduate candidates respectively by the end of January 2021.
Candidates can use this money to buy books and commence their academic learning journey. Sarma also mentioned that the government had planned these schemes in the previous year but could not be implemented because of the outbreak of the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic.
According to the scheme, the government has planned to provide financial incentives to the students of both schools and colleges.
The Assam Government has previously announced to provide scooters to all the girl students who have secured first division in the AHSEC Class 12 Board Examination 2021.
A total of 948 girl students of Assam have received scooters under this scheme so far. The Assam Government has approved a budget of INR 144.30 crore for the smooth implementation of the scheme to buy motorbikes for 22,245 girls who have passed the Class 12 Board examination in the first division.
