According to the SEBA and AHSEC, the evaluation criteria for the Assam HSLC class 10th and Class 12th will be based on the student's performance in the past examinations and other teaching-learning activities conducted in the school.
The students of class 10th will be evaluated based on the 40:40:20 formula, i.e, their performance in Class 9 exam will formulate 40% marks. In the same way, 40% of the marks from class 10 and 20% marks based on the internal assessment in the school will be taken. In case of non-availability of Class 10 marks, 70% of the marks will be added from Class 9.
The board notified that for the differently-abled students, who did not take any exams, it will be up to schools to award them marks.
