Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermedia Examination, BIE, is an examination board in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The AP Inter Exams 2021 and the AP SSC Exams 2021 have both been cancelled. Audimulapu Suresh, the state's Education Minister, has announced that the AP Inter 2nd Year Exams 2021 for class 12 students, as well as the AP SSC Class 10 Exams 2021, are cancelled. The decision comes after the Supreme Court expressed grave reservations about the state's decision to hold the exams in July today. According to the Supreme Court's orders, the outcome will be announced by July 31.
While the official notice is still pending, the Supreme Court stated today that it would not allow the exams to be held if it was not satisfied with the preparation. The court also questioned the AP government's readiness to conduct the examination for 5 lakh students.
In requesting adequate measures from the state, the Supreme Court issued a stern warning that it would hold the state accountable in the event of even a single fatality. It also advised the AP government to seek assistance from CBSE, ICSE, and UGC in developing an evaluation policy if it was unable to find alternatives.
As a result of the developments, the government has decided to cancel the Class 12 Board Exams. The announcement of the Class 11 or AP Inter 1st Year Exams 2021 is awaited. The State Government has announced that the AP 10th and 12th Board Exams for 2021 have been cancelled.
What the Government Said about AP Inter Exams 2021
The Andhra Pradesh State Government has expressed a strong desire to hold the AP Inter Exams for both first and second-year students in 2021. The exams are expected to be held in the last week of July, according to the government.
Previously, on June 22, 2021, the AP government stated that internal assessment is not an option because SSC results are based on grades. It also stated that if the conditions are favourable, the examination will take place in July. In this decision, the Supreme Court stated unequivocally that any fatalities caused by the AP Inter Exams 2021 would be the responsibility of the state. The Supreme Court also ordered the state to decide and file an affidavit by today, June 24, 2021, and to present all necessary proofs. This year, nearly 5 lakh students have registered for the AP Inter Exams 2021.
The Andhra Pradesh government made the decision to hold the examination yesterday. With this announcement, the situation has taken a new turn. Students and other stakeholders, on the other hand, should keep an eye on the Supreme Court's hearing to get a better picture of the AP Inter Exams 2021.
