AICTE PG Scholarship 2021: As per the latest update, the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) is now preparing to stop the scholarships of those students who have left their postgraduate program in the middle.
All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has directed all its approved universities and colleges to provide data of postgraduate students who have left the course midway. With this data, the council will stop the scholarships of those students.
“It has been noticed that some of the Institutions are not providing timely information of those students who have left out the course midway under the PG scholarship program of AICTE,” AICTE Official Notice read.
Institutes and colleges that are facing issues while making the data as requested by the AICTE for PG students are asked to send their details for the same on the official email of the council at pgscholarship@aicte.india.org.
While talking about the decision, AICTE said, “Due to non-availability of information in time, the fellowship is releasing uninterrupted, which is not authorized. It is, therefore, requested to furnish in time the exact status of those scholars also marked as "LEFT THE COURSE" in the PG portal".
AICTE Special Scholarship Scheme 2021 Online Registration
AICTE offers various scholarships and financial assistance to postgraduate students who wish to pursue their education in their field of interest. The scholarships are offered to ensure the development of technical education in India.
Under the AICTE PG Scholarship 2021, eligible and selected GATE/GPAT qualified students are offered an amount of 12,400 per month to pursue their education in any AICTE approved institute.
Earlier, the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE has collaborated with IOSR to offer engineering courses in Odia Languages in India. Under this collaboration, both parties will take initiative to offer engineering books in Odia Language.
Referring to the collaboration, Anil D Shahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE said “Learning in your own mother tongue is inherently much simpler and more effective. AICTE has already granted permission to 20 institutes to impart technical programs in regional language”.
