AICTE Revised Academic Calendar 2021-22: All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE has recently released the revised academic schedule for the session 2021-22 for all registered candidates to check on its official website, aicte-india.org
As per the AICTE Schedule 2021 release, the classes for first-year students of AICTE approved technical institutes across the country will now commence from November 30, 2021.
The commencement of Induction Program classes for first-year students will begin from November 15, 2021. Those who wish to apply for first-year admissions against the vacant seats available can submit their applications for the same till November 30, 2021.
Referring to the scheduled release, AICTE Member, Rajive Kumar said, “This schedule is not applicable for the institutions who have already completed the admission process and started the classes as per the earlier schedule”.
“However, if such institutes admit new students against vacancies, then the new schedule of cancellation and fee refund shall be applicable” he further added.

The official notice reads, “All AICTE-approved institutions/universities are requested to follow AICTE/UGC guidelines on examinations issued from time to time in view of the pandemic. Classes may be started in online/offline (classroom) or blended mode (online as well as offline).
“The academic calendar may change subject to conditions existing due to the pandemic and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health/Ministry of Home/Ministry of Education from time to time.” the notice further reads.
As for the Technical Institute Admission 2021 process, the candidates who wish to apply for lateral entry to second-year courses can now submit their applications for the same till October 30, 2021.
In accordance with the AICTE Academic Schedule 2021 release, the approvals of open distance learning course admission seats, and the commencement of online program classes in AICTE approved institutes will be done as per the Union Grants Commission's policy.
