The All India Council For Technical Education ( AICTE) has recently released the AICTE academic calendar for the 2021-22 session on its official site aicteindia.org. The council confirmed that the process of grant approval of the institutes other than the PGDM and PGCM colleges will be finished by 30th June and the process has to be completed by July 15 by the respective universities and boards.
As per the official calendar, the last date for completion of the first round of counselling and admissions for the allotment of seats is 31st August. The classes for existing students of technical courses will start from the 1st of September and the first-year engineering classes will begin on September 15th, 2021.
Classes for existing as well as new students in PGDM/PGCM institutions will begin from the 1st of July, while the last date for admissions to such institutions is July 10, 2021. The deadline for admissions to distance learning mode for the first and second session is September 1st, 2021 & February 1st, 2022 respectively.
The classes may get started in offline or online mode or a combination of both modes (online/offline) following the guidelines issued regarding the ongoing pandemic. The council has also informed all its approved Universities and Institutions to follow all the time to time guidelines issued by AICTE or UGC.
