Barrackpore Rastraguru Surendranath College offers financial assistance to its economically weaker candidates. The college offers various scholarship and concession programs for its undergraduate and postgraduate students. The state government provides scholarships as per marks scored (more than 75% for undergraduate and 55% for postgraduate candidates) in the previous final examination. Some of the scholarships offered by the college include the following:

Jayanta Chaudhury Memorial Scholarship: The scholarship is placed under the scholarship offered by West Bengal State University or the University of Calcutta. The scholarship is subject to an annual scholarship scheme of INR 2,000.

Matrisangha Janakalyan Ashram: This is an annual scholarship offered by the college and the subject is approximately INR 2,000 approximately. It is provided to the meritorious candidates from the weaker sections of society.
Other than these, the teacher’s council provides around 6 stipends, and eleventh stipends are provided by the alumni members.
The government of India also awards scholarships to students belonging to the weaker sections of the society (particularly SC/ST/OBC).
Eligible students are also awarded stipends such as the Hindi scholarship, the national scholarship, the national scholarship, and the stipend for the physically challenged.

Its not very good. They dont give placements to every prospect here, so they cannot provide you with a placement. The college owner should be thinking about and working on these things.
May there be no scholarship facility in our college, but our college supports poor students by giving a 50% grant in college fees for each poor student.

Admission:

The college needs to give a chance to UR also. There is not enough seat for UR for better courses. The college needs to help newcomers by clearing their doubts during the admission process. They don't even allow newcomers to enter in college premises until classes start

Admission fees are quite cheap and the process is quite easy for every student. Application form is available in Online. Admission is so easy I do not have any changes in the admission process. So, the admission process is so good.
