The admission process was very cumbersome. After giving NEET UG, Which had an application fee of about 1700 rupees and happens every year in May/June (application form and other details can be found at nta.nic.in website). The cut of for neet ug is 50 percentile, which is about 130/720 marks. For admission to the JSSMC MBBS Course, one must attain above 430/720 marks. In NEET counselling I had to give a security deposit of 2,05,000 rupees, of which 2,00,000 were later refunded. I scored 525 in NEET UG and was allotted JSSMCH, for which I had to again fill out a form on their website and pay 3500 rupees.
