Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a Deemed University located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and was established in the year 2010. The Chennai campus is part of VIT which was established in the year 1984. VIT has been consistently ranked among the top institutes in India and is placed at 9th rank in the university category by NIRF 2022. The Institute is accredited ‘Grade A++’ by NAAC and is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). VITEEE

Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is a national-level engineering entrance exam for admission to 20 B. Tech programs are offered at VIT University. The basic eligibility to appear for VITEEE is a 10+2 pass or equivalent. The candidates can apply online and offline.
